Calipers are a must for exact measurements. Get this good, yet inexpensive Calipers from General Tool.

for when I want my tool lighter. and one larger battery when I need longer running power. Ryobi P108 18V High Capacity Lithium Ion Battery
I use the Kreg R3 Jr model. This is good for moderate use. If you plan several projects or frequent use then I suggest a larger model like the K4.
Ryobi Impact Driver is fabulous. I never knew that there was such a difference when driving screws and nuts with this tool.
